Joy Fields for Kids is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2012 and officially established in 2015. We provide food, clothing, and essential resources to children and families facing vulnerability, both locally and abroad. Our mission is rooted in compassion, dignity, and the belief that everyone deserves support during critical moments.
Through Joy Fields for Kids’ programs and partnerships, children and families receive essential support during critical moments. Our work includes providing food, clothing, baby essentials, school supplies, and community-based services that promote stability, dignity, and hope for families locally and abroad.
Beyond our ongoing outreach in Chicago, our programs have touched lives across borders, including delivering Christmas gifts to children in Cancún, Mexico through our partnership with Cancún Pro Kids, as well as supporting village families in the Dominican Republic.
Joyful Beginnings
(Teen & Young Mom Enrichment Initiative)
Provides comprehensive, thoughtfully curated support to underserved young mothers by gifting items like 3-in-1 strollers, playpens, and other essentials through celebratory baby showers.
Joyful Scholars
Distributes backpacks and school supplies to children in need, ensuring they start the school year prepared and confident.
With Love From Lucia & Joy Without Borders
(Holiday and Global Outreach)
Provides gifts and essential support to families both locally and globally. While we focus on holiday celebrations like Christmas, we also extend our outreach with special occasions year-round.
Family Support Initiative
(Pop-Up Pantry)
Provides food and essential supplies through pop-up pantries, providing immediate relief to families facing hardship.
Community Service Partnership
Supports non-violent, court-involved individuals through structured community service opportunities in partnership with the State of Illinois and the Circuit Court of Cook County.
Love Blankets
Offers seasonal support to those experiencing homelessness or housing instability, providing warm blankets, food and essentials in winter and thoughtfully prepared care packages in the summer.
